Instonnic Instrument offers Reflex Level Gauges for the Measurement of liquid level at a glance in tank. This is particularly using for High pressure OR High Temperature OR Toxic Liquid Storage Tanks. These gauges have a prism glass window that uses the basic optical principles of light refraction & reflection to enhance the indication of the liquid level. In brief when the light strikes the area of glass covered by the liquid is allow passing to the Interior of the gauge. So that the area appears dark (Black). While the light strikes the open space, above the liquid level is reflected back to the observer so that the area appears silver-white. We can clearly see the actual liquid level in the systems.

In this Level Gauge, the glasses are without groves and arranged at the front and rear of a slotted liquid chamber. In this type of level gauge the liquid level is discriminated in the form of different sections. Transparent Liquid Level Gauge consists of a main chamber, cover plates, Isolation Valves at bottom & top, Studs, Nuts & Washer, Transparent Glass, Gaskets. On each window a special high resistance plate transparent glass is applied with sealing joint and metal cover plate holded by Studs and Nuts.

The chamber is connected to vessel with cross fittings and flanged, threaded or welded ends. Usually, between the instrument and its connecting ends, valves are fitted to consent shut-off piping and to disassemble the level gauge without emptying the vessel. Drain valves can also be fitted to cross fittings device. To avoid leakage in case of glass breakage, safety ball-check device can be provided in cross-fittings or shut-off valves. To protect glass surfaces from corrosive action of the process fluid, Transparent Level Gauges can be fitted with CAF, Mica shields.
